Simply put, Vindale Research is an online survey site that pays you to take online surveys. The more surveys you take, the more you’re bound to earn. You even get a $2 bonus for signing-up and completing your profile.

vindale research review introduction

One of the great thing about Vindale Research is that I haven’t yet ran across someone who’s been refused registration (unless you’re in a non-participating country of course).

Registration is 100% free and can be completed within minutes. With that said, never register for a survey site that requires payment.

The reason Vindale Research is able to pay you for your opinion is because they use the data that you provide and sell it to companies as market research. Companies then use this information to help improve their products and services.

In exchange for providing real-world feedback, companies can keep their customers happy. In short, Vindale Research has the goal to help make the world a better place for everyday consumers. If you end up not liking it, you can cancel your membership at any time.

Each time you complete a survey, you’re given a certain amount of cash. This cash is deposited automatically to your specified PayPal account.

With that said, let’s get into the pros and cons of Vindale Research.

Pros
  • One of the highest-paying survey sites on the web – expect to earn roughly $10 – $13 per hour as a US user
  • Registration is completely free – never sign-up for a survey site that asks for payment
  • Not only are you earning cash, but the answers you provide help improve products and services to everyday consumers
  • Vindale Research has a great reputation for paying out on-time
  • Answers you provide are kept completely anonymous to protect your privacy
  • There are some surveys that can be completed multiple times per day – it’s difficult to run out of surveys with this site
  • Excellent referral program
Cons
  • Taking online surveys can be a bit tedious after a while
  • Although there are a lot of high-paying surveys, there are also many low-paying ones
  • Minimum of $50 in account balance needed to withdraw – this is quite high compared to most survey sites
  • Vindale Research is restricted to certain countries

In What Countries Can You Use Vindale Research?

If you aren’t even located in a country that supports Vindale Research, there’s no point in trying to register. At the moment, those who are residents of the United States, England, Australia or Canada.

At this time, we are not aware of any plans for them to extend to other countries. And this makes complete sense. A lot of the companies they partner with want feedback from those residing in English-speaking countries since that’s what their market caters to.

How Much Can I Make With Vindale Research?

Before we begin, take note that members of the same household cannot use Vindale Research. This is to prevent scamming their site with multiple accounts from the same person. The amount you can make with Vindale Research depends on multiple factors:

  • Location
  • Your profile information
  • How many surveys you decide to take
Location

If you’re not located in one of their participating countries, of course you can’t make any money with Vindale Research. However, the payment structure may be a bit different depending on where you are.

For example, if you’re located in the United States, the surveys and their payout rates may be completely different for those residing in Australia. We have found that US residents tend to be favored.

However, don’t let this discourage you. Those residing in countries other than the US can still earn a decent amount taking surveys.

Your Profile Information

It’s important that you fill out your profile information as accurately as possible. Vindale uses this information to determine what type of surveys you’re eligible for.

Not only that, but this makes the surveys that much more enjoyable. You’ll receive questions that cater to your interests. This will make you that much more motivated to complete even more surveys.

In summary, their goal is to get quality survey takers. The more accurate your information, the greater impact it will have on market research. Besides, you even get a $2 bonus just for filling-out your profile.

How Many Surveys You Decide To Take

Without a doubt, Vindale Research takes the lead when it comes to the amount of surveys available. Many surveys can even be taken more than once per day.

What I love about this survey site is that you already know if you’re eligible for a survey or not. If you’re not eligible, they simply won’t give it to you.

So How Much Can I Make?

We’ve found that Vindale Research pays out much higher than your average survey site. However, keep in mind that this sip provided that you stick with their higher-paying surveys. They also have a lot of surveys that are on the lower-paying end.

I think what what would better help is by taking a look at a few examples. I’m going to show you some of the surveys that were available to me when I first registered.

vindale research review survey example

If you view the image above, you can see that you can earn $1.45 in roughly 2 minutes. This calculates out to an hourly rate of $43.5 per hour – insane! But will you make this much? Probably not.

Keep in mind that surveys like this are far and few between. Yet when they do appear, grab them before they get away. Let’s take a look at another example:

vindale research review survey example two

From the image above, we see that we can earn $0.43 in roughly 23 minutes. This calculates out to an hourly rate of only $1.12 per hour – terrible. Again, will you make this much? Probably not.

Let’s take a look at a more typical survey. The one in the image below takes about 8 minutes to complete and gives you $1.77. This means you’re earning at a rate of $13.28 per hour – and you will make around this much.

It’s difficult to estimate exactly how much you’ll earn However, I’ve found that on average I earn roughly $10 – $13 per hour with Vindale Research. Again, this depends on your demographics and location.

Take Multiple Surveys Per Day

We’ve mentioned multiple times already that the surveys with Vindale Research never tend to stop. There are many surveys that you can take up to multiple times per day. This is definitely one of the great features about Vindale when comparing it to other survey sites.

These are the only survey sites that don’t give you a timeframe on how long they take to complete. This is because depending on the time of day, the time it takes to complete may be different.

The highest survey I’ve seen paid up to $27 with a rough estimate of 60 minutes. This was after having taken multiple surveys, which is why we suggest you keep going with Vindale Research. They really like to reward frequent survey-takers.

Refer Your Friends For Even More Cash

Vindale Research has one of the best referral programs on the web. For each friend that you refer using your sign-up link, you receive $5 in cash once they complete their first survey.

A great way to spread the word is to post your link on Facebook or Twitter. Furthermore, try convincing your friends by stating that you even get a $2 bonus once they register and complete their profile.

What I’ve found to be the most helpful is payment proof, as it tends to go a long way. Show them how much you’re making and they’ll want to do the same. If you’d like to support FFL, you can use our referral link here – we’d greatly appreciate it!

Keep in mind that while there’s no limit to the amount you can earn through referrals, you cannot refer those who reside in the same household or that use the same computer.

What Are Some Other High-Paying Survey Sites?

Although Vindale Research has plenty of surveys available, a lot of them tend to be low-paying. When you run out of high-paying surveys, consider switching over to another survey site.

We’ve put together a quick list of the top 5 survey sites for you to earn some extra cash.

1. Survey Junkie

If you’re looking for a survey site with a long-standing reputation, then you’re not going to fail with Survey Junkie. They have the potential to help you earn up to $18 per hour, but this is provided that you only stick with high-paying surveys.

Their interface makes it easy-to-use with a much lower payout threshold of $10. You can redeem your points in the form of either gift cards or direct deposits to PayPal.

While Survey Junkie does have a lot of surveys available, keep in mind that a lot of them are on the lower side. With that said, stick with the higher-paying ones to make it worth your while.

2. Pinecone Research

Pinecone Research is great because you always know how much you’re going to make and have a really good indicator of how long your survey will take. Each survey pays a flat rate of $3 and takes around 10 – 15 minutes.

At this rate, you’re earning between $12 – $18 per hour. The downside? Unfortunately, you might only be able to take surveys from them about once or twice a month. This is mostly due to the fact that they only want to give you high-quality surveys.

Next to Vindale Research, this has to be one of my favorite survey sites on the web. There’s no need to constantly log-in to check for surveys since they’re by email invite only.

3. PointClub

PointClub never fails me when I’m looking for a fun survey with a decent payout rate. Expect to earn anywhere from $7 – $15 per hour with a $5 sign-up bonus. There’s a minimum cash out of $25 for gift cards or deposits to PayPal.

PointClub works on a bonus system. For every 5 days that you log in consecutively, you get a 10% bonus on all of your earnings until you reach a maximum of 100%. However, once you forgot to log-in for one day, that resets back to 0%.

Keep in mind it’s only with these bonuses that allow to earn around the full amount of $15 per hour. Like Vindale Research, they also supply free reward codes that give you extra points that can be found by following them on social media.

4. Swagbucks

While you can’t as much much taking surveys with Swagbucks, they have a lot of other fun tasks you can complete to earn cash. Earn cash watching videos, taking polls, shopping online, clipping coupons, playing games and more.

I personally prefer to watch videos on both my Desktop and mobile device since I can easily earn a near-passive income. Other than that, log-in once a day and look for high-paying offers.

Swagbucks does tend to change up their sign-up bonuses quite frequently. A few weeks ago it was $5, and now it’s only $.50 cents. Your points (called Swagbucks) can be exchanges for gift cards or direct deposits to PayPal.

5. Springboard America

We recently did a review of Springboard America, and were pleasantly surprised to find a legitimate site with such a great payout rate. Similar to Vindale Research, expect to earn at about the same rate or a bit higher. I earn on average around $12 – $15 per hour.

Unfortunately, unlike most other online survey sites, they don’t give you a registration bonus. Yet their high payout rate quickly makes up for it. You do need to reach a minimum threshold of $50 to cash out, but you shouldn’t have any trouble getting there.

Keep in mind that only residents of the US can join. Another downside is that you won’t have as many surveys as you’d like. However, the great thing is that most of them are high-paying.

Is Vindale Research Worth It?

The most important question we get regarding Vindale Research is whether it’s worth it or not. Let’s take a look at a few deciding factors:

  • They pay. Based on my personal experience, Vindale Research is not a scam. They’ve sent me payments at the end of every month that I’ve reached the minimum threshold of $50 (see payment proof below).
  • They pay well. If you take a lot of low-paying surveys, you’re not going to earn any more than $5 per hour with Vindale. Fortunately, this doesn’t have to be the case. They have a wide range of high-paying and low-paying surveys. I find it difficult to earn below $10 per hour on average.
  • There’s a sign-up bonus. It frustrates me when there’s no sign-up bonus on a survey site, mostly because most sites have one. Vindale Research pays you $2 when you register and complete your profile.
  • High payout threshold. This is one of the major cons of Vindale. You need to reach a minimum of $50 before you can cash out. In fact, many quit using the site before they even reach this amount.

So is Vindale Research Worth It? Based on what I’ve noticed, the answer is a definite yesHowever, the ultimate answer is up to you. That’s why we suggest you go ahead and give it a try.

In fact, aside from the high payout threshold, it was difficult to find any real cons with Vindale Research. Furthermore, by sticking with it and taking more surveys, you’ll soon be rewarded with more surveys and much more higher-paying ones.

Final Thoughts

To be honest, I try not to take too many online surveys. This is primarily because you can easily get burnt out. This happened to me in the past, and I stopped taking surveys for a few months before doing them again.

I personally find taking surveys to be the best when you have a few minutes to kill or are winding down the day in the office. Some of the surveys on Vindale can be completed in as little as 5 minutes.

If I had to stick with just a few, great, online survey sites; Vindale Research would definitely be on my list. For those that enjoyed this article, you might also like the following:
