If you’re currently using Google as your primary method of surfing the web, you’re missing out on some extra cash.
There are a lot of rewards programs or apps that will pay you to use their search engine. We’re going to list the top 5.

Table of Contents
1. Swagbucks
Those of you who have already signed-up for Swagbucks know that it’s an easy way to earn extra cash watching videos and completing daily tasks online. They also have a section that allows you to earn points for surfing the web (powered by Yahoo!).
Search results are usually pretty decent, and you can expect to make an extra 20 cents per day. Payouts can be used to go to Amazon or direct deposits to your PayPal account. Sometimes there are also bonuses available that allow you to earn extra Swagbucks (1 Swagbuck is equal to 1 cent).

2. InboxDollars
Last but not least comes Inbox Dollars. This rewards site pays you to complete tasks online, and one of them includes surfing the web. As an extra bonus you even get an additional $5 dollars just for signing-up, but you do need a minimum of $20 to cash out.
There is a cap on the amount of cash that you can earn per day, but you’ll be earning about $.01 for every 3 searches, no matter what the term. It isn’t as random as the other programs on this list.
Search until your heart’s content until you hit the maximum amount per day.

3. Qmee
Qmee is an internet company that helps advertisers reach their target market, and is by far one of the best ways to earn cash on the web. You simply install their plugin and when a related search comes up, Qmee will display a small popup with ads.
Click on any of the links and earn some extra cash.
The great thing about this one is that you can use any search engine you want (even searches on Amazon) and ads will still be displayed.
The only requirement is that you use FireFox as your web browser. Expect to make an extra $.20 – $.50 cents per day depending on the amount of searching you do.

4. Microsoft Rewards (formerly Bing Rewards)
Bing Rewards is a long-standing veteran of search rewards. You can earn a maximum of around $.25 cents daily, and you must use the Bing search engine in order to earn cash. You have to have either a hotmail or outlook account to register.
Bing Rewards has a tier system that pays you more cash the longer you use their search engine. When you reach gold status, you increase your max earnings by 15 cents per day and get a 10% discount on gift cards.
The great part is that you can have a maximum of 5 accounts per household, so convince all of your family member stop sign-up as well.

5. Perk Search
Most of you probably know about Perk TV, a mobile app that allows you to earn roughly $150 per month semi-passively. You can also use their search engine to help you earn more points.
You can earn points by browsing the web, Wikipedia, or even Youtube (all powered by Yahoo!).
You can either use the search engine on your phone or your PC. It’s difficult to determine exactly how many points you’ll earn with each search, but I’ve found that there’s usually no limit to the amount of points that you can earn each day.
1,000 Perk Points is equal to $1, and points can be exchanged for gift cards or cash prizes.

Final Thoughts
If you’re already surfing the web, you might as well use one of these programs to get some extra cash out of it. Use all of them daily and you can expect to make an extra $400 – $500 annually.
That’s pretty great for doing something that you’d normally do on a daily basis.
