I can use Palfish with my cellphone? I dont have to be hardwired into a computer? Do I merely speak with the student or does he/she see me?

In reply to Sam. Hi Sam, There are lots of programs for teaching English online aside from just Palfish. Try looking at these English teaching programs. In any case, I recommend you make a great profile and introduction video - most of the time no teaching experience is required with these types of apps.

In reply to Ljoy. Maybe youre looking at the wrong currency. 2 rmb is about .29 cents per minute, over $17 dollars per hour. If you only have 66 rmb you have only taught 33 minutes for that “$9”.

I just signed up with Palfish, but in the app it does not ask for any Paypal info. It has a payment method called Payoneer, I have emailed Palfish and I have not heard back, Can anyone confirm if palfish pays with paypal or not? If so, how do I link up my account? Thanks..

I don’t have a smart phone. Can I use a laptop for teaching? I’m a native English speaker (Australia)and have been teaching English privately to live-in students from overseas in our home for 36 years. I don’t use a website, but have a Facebook group where I post mini English lessons every day.
