What Is PrizeRebel?

PrizeRebel is a website that pays you to do online tasks. Each time you complete a task, you’re awarded a specific amount of points. These points can be exchanged for gift cards to popular retailers, direct deposits to PayPal or other cash prizes.

Here are the current tasks that PrizeRebel rewards you for:

  • Surveys
  • Offer Walls
  • Watching Videos
  • Referrals

The reason why PrizeRebel is willing to pay you for doing such simple tasks is because advertisers are willing to pay them for the information that they gather. For example, if you take a survey, they may gather information about how many people you live with or if you smoke or not.

This date is then sold to companies as market research. Even though they’re giving away your information, it’s kept completely anonymous. In other words, there’s no way to trace this information back to you. Registration is 100% free. Unfortunately, PrizeRebel is currently only available to US users.

How Much Can I Earn With PrizeRebel?

The amount you can earn with PrizeRebel completely depends on the tasks that you complete since some activities pay more than others. We’re going to break down how much you can typically earn per activity and whether each one is worth your time or not.

Keep in mind that 1 point is equivalent to 1 cent, and you need a minimum of 2 points ($2 USD) to cash out. Rewards are typically given within 7 days of redemption.

Surveys

Before you can complete any survey with PrizeRebel you’ll need to complete your profile. You’ll be given 10 points for doing so and it only takes a few minutes to do so. Be sure to answer honestly as your demographic information depends on the type of surveys that will be available to you.

The great thing about PrizeRebel is that you’re told how many points you earn and how long a survey will take before you actually start. Many survey sites won’t do so. I typically find a wide pay-range for the surveys. Some only pay you 75 points for 20 minutes of work, while others will pay you 500 points for 30 minutes. In other words, there’s a huge difference.

By sticking to the higher-paying surveys, you can earn at a rate of about $12/hour, definitely a good rate for a survey site. For this reason, we recommend taking surveys with PrizeRebel.

Offer Walls

Offer Walls are basically any type of offer. You may be asked to complete a survey or you may be asked to download a mobile app. We’ve concluded that downloading the apps are the only offer that’s worth it since they’re so simple and the payout is usually quite high.

This requires you to download the app and open it. You’ll typically be credited your points within 24 hours. Once you receive your reward, feel free to delete the app. Just from downloading apps, you can earn about $10/hour, which is why we recommend offer walls – at least if you’re downloading apps. We do not recommend completing the other offers with Offer Walls.

Watching Videos

We recommend watching videos with PrizeRebel not because of the high payout rate, but rather for its simplicity. You won’t earn a lot of points, but the task is simple enough to complete that you can earn points without hardly any effort. This is great for those lazy days. If you need something simple to do without much attention, watching videos is where it’s at.

Refer A Friend

Referring a friend is by far the best task you can participate in on PrizeRebel. Each time you refer a friend, you earn 20% of their points for life. All they have to do is use your link to sign-up.

A great way to quickly spread the word about PrizeRebel is by posting your link on social media such as Facebook or Twitter. We’ve easily earned a few sign-ups because of this. If you’d like to support FFL, please use our referral link – we’d greatly appreciate it!

Final Thoughts on Which Tasks to Complete

When it comes to small task sites, it’s usually quite rare that we recommend you to participate in all tasks. The reason for this with PrizeRebel is most likely because there just aren’t that many tasks to complete in the first place. This makes it simple for the user as well, as he or she doesn’t have to worry about whether a task is worth their time or not.

How Do I Get Started With PrizeRebel?

While signing-up for PrizeRebel is quite simple, we’ve broken it down

1. Register.

You can register for a new account by clicking this link here. All you need to do is enter in your name and email, or you can sign-up via Facebook. Keep in mind that registration is 100% free. Don’t forget to confirm your email after signing-up.

2. Complete tasks.

The great thing about PrizeRebel is that you always know how much you’re expected to earn before you even start a task. As mentioned above, we’ve reviewed PrizeRebel tasks and have found that almost all of their activities are worth it. This means you should go ahead and participate in whatever task seems interesting to you.

3. Redeem.

Once you earn a minimum of 200 points in your account ($2 USD), you can redeem them for gift cards to popular retailers or direct deposits to PayPal. Expect to wait about 1 week before you receive your prize in your inbox.

4. Refer A Friend.

Referring a friend is by far the easiest way to earn cash with PrizeRebel. Each time you refer a friend, you get 20% of their points for life. We put this one as an extra step since the reward is so high and the amount of effort is minimal.

What Are Some Other Great Rewards Sites Like PrizeRebel?

If you’re a frequent user of PrizeRebel, you’ll most likely run out of offers. Although they will refresh their offers every so often, it may take some time. In the meantime, go ahead and participate in other short task sites to increase your earnings even further.

1. Swagbucks

Swagbucks is one of the most popular short task rewards sites on the web. They’ve been around for 10+ years and are known for their great payout rate. Earn cash taking surveys, watching videos, shopping online, clipping coupons, playing games and almost any other online activity you can think of.

The reason Swagbucks has such a great reputation is because they’re always consistent with their payout rate as well as the fact that they’ve been around for so long. I’ve never ran into a problem with them paying me the correct amount, nor have they even been late.

I highly recommend watching videos and completing surveys. With these 2 tasks in mind, you can easily earn $10+ per hour. Referring friends is also a great option since you can earn 10% of your friends’ earnings for life. Last time I checked there wasn’t a registration bonus, but I have seen it as high as $5.

2. PointClub

PointClub should catch your attention right off the bat for their $5 registration bonus. This survey sites is one of the highest that I’ve found, as you can easily earn up to $15 per hour.

Keep in mind that in order to earn the amount of $15 per hour, you need to participate in their bonus program. For every 5 days that you log-in consecutively, you’re given an additional 10% bonus on all points until you reach the full amount of a 100% bonus. However, forget to log-in one day and this resets back to 0%.

Even if you don’t participate in the bonus you can still expect to earn $7 – $10 per hour. You need a minimum of $25 to cash out. Points can be claimed for cash prizes or for gift cards to popular retailers. If you’re looking for a site that rewards you for just completing surveys, this is one of the best out there.

3. Ibotta
  • Registration Bonus: $10 after scanning your first receipt
  • Join Ibotta

Ibotta is a rewards app rather than a rewards app. Yet we have to include it here since it’s such an easy money maker. Ibotta is a receipt scanning app that pays you to take pictures of your receipts. Whether it be groceries, electronics, prescriptions, meals at restaurants or alcohol, there’s most likely going to be an offer for you.

The thing I love about Ibotta is that you’re given a $10 bonus after you scan your first receipt. Keep in mind that you need a minimum of $20 to cash out for either gift cards or deposits to PayPal.

Once you install the Ibotta app, you’ll notice a list of offers available. Buy the products listed on their app (typically groceries) and save your receipt. Take a picture through Ibotta. As long as the receipt can be read clearly and your item shows up, expect to earn anywhere between $.25 cents to $5 per item.

This is a great side hustle for anyone looking to earn any extra cash. Ibotta now even rewards you for shopping through other apps. For example, open up Ibotta and click on “Shop through Groupon” to be redirected to the Groupon app. Currently you’ll earn 8% in cash back on your total purchase price through Groupon. This is one rewards app you definitely want to have on your smartphone.

Final Thoughts

PrizeRebel is a great way to make some extra cash on the side. Don’t expect it to make you rich, but rather use it as a way to supplement your income. We typically find that if there are an abundant amount of offers available, it’s not difficult to earn $10 per hour or more.
